‍Director Andrea Matthews first met the team from Accelerate Engine at the 2025 ATAINZ Annual Conference in Christchurch (atainz.co.nz).

Although Andrea had heard of Accelerate Engine the previous year, she was initially hesitant. With a lean team, she was concerned that running a scan and refund project might place too much pressure on her firm’s limited admin resources.

Ancient history

‍One especially satisfying result was a refund of nearly $1,000 for Andrea’s 80 year old mother, it had been many years since she was self employed, and the refund turned out to be 21 years old.
